As you make PennyTalk calls, the cost of each call is deducted from your account balance. We’ll tell you your account balance every time you make a call.

How do I make calls with PennyTalk?

Simple dialing instructions can be found here. Calling with PennyTalk is even easier when you add No-PIN Dialing to your account. No-PIN Dialing is a free feature. No-PIN Dialing removes the step to enter your account number and PIN with every call.

Will my balance be available for calls right away?

In most cases, the answer is yes. In some cases, you will have $3 available for calls for 1-2 business days while we complete our account verification process.

How do I add funds when my balance is low?

We make it easy for you to add funds to your account in several ways.

  • By Phone: You can use the voice prompts or speak with a customer service agent when you call customer service at 1-888-311-8360
  • Online: Login to the online Account Centre
  • Automatically: You can add Auto-Recharge to your account to ensure you’re never low on funds for calls
Does PennyTalk require a contract?

No, there is no contract or commitment required. Simply fund your account with as little as $10 and see how much you like our service. PennyTalk also comes with a satisfaction guarantee. If you want to discontinue the service, we’ll refund your unused balance to your credit or debit card.

Will my balance expire?

There is no expiration date for your PennyTalk account. As long as you have a balance in your account, you can make calls. PennyTalk has a 99¢ monthly service fee which is deducted from your account balance each month.

Will I get a bill in the mail?

PennyTalk does not send bills. You can review and print your call history and billing history at anytime in the online Account Centre. We’ll also mail or email you a list of recent calls upon your request.

Will my account automatically recharge during a call?

Your account will not recharge while you are on a call. If your balance nears $0 during a call, you will hear a warning message before your call is disconnected.

Does PennyTalk pass Caller ID?

PennyTalk follows the Caller ID settings you have set for your home and mobile phone. If you have not blocked Caller ID, we will display your phone number to the person you call. If you have blocked Caller ID, your phone number will not be displayed.

My phone number changed. Can I change my PennyTalk account number?

You can but it is not necessary. Your PennyTalk account with your old phone number will continue to work. Please update any No-PIN Dialing and Saveorite settings with your new phone number.

What should I do if I forget my Account Number or PIN?

Your account number is usually your 10-digit phone number. If you forget your account number or PIN, click here or click the small question mark at the top of this page at the right of the sign in boxes. We will email your account information to the email address we have on file.
